Proud moment for ASA

At the launch of Suffrage 125 today at Government House, we heard from these powerful young wāhine. As we look back on the achievements of the past and express gratitude for the women whose shoulders we stand on, we also look forward to the mahi that is yet to be done. Especially for Māori and Pasifika women, for trans women, for migrant and refugee women, for women with disabilities, for all young women who want to study STEM, for women in sport, and more. The future of Aotearoa will be in excellent hands! Kia ora Roneima Koro-Teumohenga, Rez Gardi, Hana Olds, Bella Simpson, Fatumata Bah for your wisdom and passion.
