What: Super 8 Cultural Festival

Time: 530pm cultural performances kick off

Our ASA family were invited to be part of Palmerston North Boys High School Super 8 cultural festival. Three of our ASA parents were judges for the Pasifika cultural performances tonight - Tanya Koro, Osaiasi Palelei and Mama Folole Muliaga. Thank you to Lifeimi Mafi (Co-Pasifika Dean at Boys High) for collaborating with us and continue strengthening our relationship to advance the platform for our Pasifika students.

Palmerston North Boys High School hosted this year's Super 8 Cultural Festival Programme. The Cultural Festival has grown significantly over time and provides schools with the opportunity to showcase the cultural and performing arts of the highest calibre. Formed in 1997, the NZ Super Eight Schools incorporates the eight boys’ high schools from their respective provincial cities of the Central North Island.

• New Plymouth Boys’ High School
• Palmerston North Boys’ High School
• Rotorua Boys’ High School
• Tauranga Boys’ High School

There were also other events on like Chess, Debating, Kapa Haka etc..over the two days.
