ASA Awards Evening 2020
SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER - DR Suli Vunibola
The Awards evening is an opportunity to recognise all our students' successes and hard work for 2020. It was also a time for our ASA families to come together, to celebrate and reflect on our journey for 2020.
This year ASA had the honour of hosting our special guest speaker Dr Suli Vunibola.
His work was focused on discovering how communities across Oceania can establish distinctive models of economic engagement that allows them to pursue successful business development while retaining control over customary land and upholding community processes, wellbeing and values. Case studies and relative studies conducted in Fiji, Samoa, Cook Island and with Māori entrepreneurs.

ASA AWARDS PRESENTATION
The main event for the evening was the presentation of awards. This year ASA were fortunate enough to have our awards sponsored by Fonterra, Xero and NZQA. Congratulations to all our hard working ASA students!

FAREWELL SPEECHES - ASA 2020 HEAD BOY AND HEAD GIRL
The event was also a farewell to our 2020 ASA Head boy and Head girl, VJ Tauli and Sulieti Fakahau who delivered emotional speeches. Both students are headed to Dunedin to study medicine at the University of Otago. All the best to VJ and Sulieti for your leadership in 2020. ASA look forward to all your success in the future.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF 2021 HEAD BOY AND HEAD GIRL
As a part of their last duties as ASA Head boy and Head girl, VJ and Sulieti announced the ASA Head boy and Head girl for 2021, passing on the leadership to two worthy ASA students. Congratulations to ASA Head boy Lawrence Leung Wai and ASA Head girl Grace Fakahau who are students at PNBHS and PNGHS respectively.
