To revolutionize the education system for Pasifika students in STEM subjects

Mission

To encourage and normalize the uptake of STEM subjects among Pasifika students across Palmerston North secondary school students.

The Plan

To support our vision and achieve our target our strategic plan consists of 4 key areas of focus over the next 5 years ·

  • Student Learning – ensuring our methods are customer-centric and tailored to the student’s learning ability ·
  • Teaching – sustaining and maintaining quality teachers ·
  • Partnerships – creating collaboration among key stakeholders and partners across the community ·
  • Culture – providing a cultural platform for students to strengthen their identity and belonging

Measures

To support our vision and achieve our target our strategic plan will use the following high-level process to measure student achievement and education improvement efforts.

The ASA evaluation/project team will identify improvements across the ASA program and feed the recommendations for improvements for the following year.


The ‘Plan’ will each have individual outcomes and associated measures for each of the 4 key focus areas
